XOLogic is a comprehensive software platform for the showroom business. Its product provides data management for inventory, cataloging, and accounting/ERP systems. XOLogic also provides custom website design and marketing to help showrooms increase traffic, sales, and order value.

Problem

XOLogic’s new and prospective clients often required specific integrations across various categories such as e-commerce, accounting/ERP, and analytics. For their engineering team, building each integration was not only time-consuming, but it also required specialized understanding of each API. It simply wasn’t sustainable for a large bulk of their development resources to be spent on third party integrations instead of their core product offerings.

Solution

XOLogic knew they wanted a specialized partner to meet their integration needs as they grew, and landed on Endgrate.

From the start, Endgrate was extremely dedicated to XOLogic’s success. In the first week, XOLogic connected a custom-built Pendo analytics integration that Endgrate developed, which allowed them to provide website analytics to their customers. Over the course of next year, XOLogic used Endgrate to ship integrations such as Google Sheets, Jira, Shopify, and Avalara. Endgrate took care of the entire integration process from start to finish, including contacting third-party vendors on behalf of XOLogic, obtaining necessary credentials and documentation to build out new integrations, and submitting integrations for approval by the third-party. All XOLogic engineers had to do was interface with the Endgrate API.

When XOLogic decided to revamp their accounting integrations, they turned to Endgrate to get it done. With one connection, they were able to offer QuickBooks, Sage, and SAP integrations to their clients. When one of their clients wanted a Sage 100 on-premise integration, Endgrate’s specialized support team contacted their client for server access and developed a fully custom executable software wrapper to allow requests from the on-premise server to reach Endgrate and vice-versa. In the end, XOLogic was able to interface with their client’s Sage 100 instance just like any other cloud-based accounting provider.

By managing these complex integrations, Endgrate significantly accelerates XOLogic’s developers and allows them to stay focused on core product development.
